SAINT-JÉRÔME, April 2nd, 2014 – Pierre Roy & Associés, trustee in bankruptcy, is proud to announce the launch of a new office at 60 rue de Martigny Ouest in Saint-Jérôme. The new office is the 15th location in Quebec for the bankruptcy trustee firm established nearly 25 years ago in L’Île-Perrot.
“The area of Saint-Jérôme is a growing region where we wanted to be present for many years. The stars aligned and we seized the opportunity to get closer to the people in the Laurentians,” says Jonathan Roy, director at Pierre Roy & Associés. Mr. Roy explains that the proximity of the new office with the courthouse and the downtown Saint-Jérôme makes it an ideal location.
Although the office is very young, it is people of experience who will operate it. Indeed, the office will be under the supervision of the trustee Mathieu Roy, head of the North Shore, Lanaudière and now Laurentides. He will be assisted by two advisors with many years of experience: Nathalie Robichaud and Ginette Lamothe.
With the acquisition of this new office, Pierre Roy & Associés hopes to respond to the increasing number of insolvencies Quebec recently experiences. Indeed, in 2013, the number of personal bankruptcies and consumer proposals has increased by 11% in the province. The debt ratio of Quebec households continues to grow year by year and more and more people are trapped by their debts.
The mission of the company is to help people with financial problems. Debts are sources of stress, anxiety, insomnia and even sickness; that is why Pierre Roy & Associés puts its experience and expertise in serving the people of St-Jérôme.
